Tteokbokki sauce is thin and chicken served is karage. Tteok is chewy and has a few fishcake pieces. Overall an okay-ish option given the location and price.

Generous servings of proteins from an unassuming place that's surprisingly tasty too! The largest bowl is my default option whenever I eat here, as it comes with 3 proteins of your choice, 2 onsen egg, a bowl of soup and addictive crispy fish skin. You could ask for less rice if you're not a big eater, but highly recommended to mix all the ingredients together with the onsen egg for a burst of flavour with each bite. Service staff were polite and worked fast to prepare the meals too. There are limited seats so most people would be seen doing a takeout. They accept credit card payments too. Would recommend!

Limited “over the counter” seats created the opportunity to find out more about this humble but popular setup. They have been here for last 8 years. Moved from next door while serving Jap cuisine to current unit with previous setup selling Korean hence the kimchi stew and tteokbokki addition. Lots of beef cubes in kimchi stew while my friend added beef to his sh-ell donburi. We also love the tteokbokki with torched cheese. I like both the texture and on point spicy level. Despite having a constant stream of orders, the regulars didn’t have to wait long for their takeaway.

Great source of fast and tasty dinner! I rate this 4/5. The quality of food here is topnotch and they serve them with fish skins! A great add on on your donburi. You can choose from a wide variety pf bowls and donburis. Location-wise, it is at the International Plaza near foot traffic. Hence, it can be busy during lunch hours but very much available around off peaks and dinner time. If you live around the area, I highly suggest to grab one for dinner. The staff are friendly and you can pay using Kris app which gives 10% discount at the moment.

Great value donburi! Their portions are huge and the quality is superb for the price you’re paying. Had the beef sukiyaki don; the meat was flavorful and tender - and there was a lot of it. The fish skin was also abundant and had a pretty interesting herbal taste which I felt was a little too strong for my liking - but that’s a personal preference. There’s only 4 seats for dine-in at these little counters they set up right in front of the shop.

One of the most value-worthy donburi meal I’ve had! $15.90 for a good portion of protein, ranging prawn, chicken and beef! Everything was marinated perfectly and the portion was really worth it! Really enjoyed my lunch here! They have a complimentary soup too. On another occasion I tried their Korean selection, wil high is the tteokbokki set! Would prefer the donburi over this for the value and taste. But still a good fix if u need to satisfy your cravings. There’s a small sitting area that fit for 4-5 people at a time

2024 review Beef shabu don was superb. For me well worth the money $11. Had to wait longer than other dishes though.. Would eat this again when I have time to wait. ______ 2021 review We got 2 donburis with 2 drinks and 2 miso soups for about $16.90 on the Chope app. Overall it was worth it. Being someone who lived in Japan for years, I'd say the taste brings me back to Japan (except for the fried salted egg fish skin haha). The onsen tamago is legit. The taste of the beef tastes like Yoshinoya Japan's beef don. They use Japanese rice. Miso soup was the usual, tastes like the ones I had in Japan (where I buy from supermarkets and where they serve in restaurants) It might be just me but I think the fish skin kinda throws the beef umami-egg-rice flavor off balance and I would prefer not to have it on the bento. The mushroom seems like shitake with truffle sauce and cheese.

Food is decent but has increased price over the years and the fish “sprinklers” has become smaller as well, more like crumps now. Not much dining space, especially for lunch, it would be better to take out. The mega don is quite worth it as you can choose 3 proteins and provides 2 egg
